Richardson, who completed her 2023 season at the Prefontaine Classic, the Diamond League Meeting final will once again take to the track this season, with the hope of making this campaign impressive.

Jackson, the Jamaican, enjoyed an amazing 2023 season, summing it up with a double victory at the Diamond League Meeting final and she will be hoping to continue the winning streak as she opens her season.

Both have set eyes on the Paris 2024 Olympics scheduled for later this year and they will seek to bag individual gold medals, a great milestone in their careers.

Richardson will be returning to the Games after an unfortunate happening during the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games where she was banned by the Athletics Integrity Unity (AIU) for a doping offense.

Meanwhile, both Richardson and Jackson have been nominated for the Laureus Sportswoman of the year award, a morale booster ahead of the busy season.

Other top athletes confirmed for the event include World Indoor 60m champion Christian Coleman and Twanisha Terry, both Richardson’s compatriots.
