The Jamaican trio and Richardson are yet to open their season and they have been sharing clips of their training with the hope of making history at the global bonanza.

Richardson will face an uphill task, going up against the Jamaicans who have for long tormented Americans when it comes to global championships. However, the narrative might change this season as Richardson has proven to be a force to reckon with since last season.

She came with a bang and cemented her place and this being a memorable return to the Olympic Games, the 23-year-old will certainly look to make an impact. During the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, she could not compete after being banned by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).
