The FKF Premier League opponents will carry the flag of the country in continental club competitions.

Kenya's representatives in continental football in the 2023/24 season Gor Mahia and Kakamega Homeboyz have learned the programme of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

The Preliminary Round of the Champions League has been scheduled to take place between Friday 18 and Sunday 20 August, while the Confederation Cup's similar stage have been penciled for Friday 24, and Sunday 27 August.

The Second Preliminary Round of matches will take place in September, with the Champions League action scheduled between Friday 15, and Sunday 17 September, and for the Confederation Cup, the matches will be staged between Friday 29 September, and Sunday, 1 October.

The Group Stage games have been programmed to take place between November 2023 and March 2024, with matchday one action expected to be on Friday 24, and Sunday 26 November for both club competitions.

Matchday two action will take place between Friday 1 and Sunday 3 December, before matchday three action that are set for December 8–10. The month of December is set to witness several actions, with matchday four actions planned for dates 19 and 20.

The continental club competitions will take over a month's break before matchday five resumes in February 2024, with matches set for between dates 23 and 25. The final group games will be witnessed in early March, as matchday six games are slotted between March 1 and 3.

The knockout phase will begin in late March, with the quarterfinals set for between March 29 and 31 for the Champions League, while the  Confederation Cup games will be played between April 5 and 7.

For the Champions League semis, the contesting clubs will clash between April 19 and 21, before Africa's second club competition penultimate rivals battle between April 26 and 28.

As usual, the finals will be played on a home/away format, with the Confederation Cup first leg match set for May 10–12 and the return leg on May 17–19. The Champions League first-leg duel will be conducted on dates 17–19 before the return action scheduled for 24–26.

The clubs from the Sub-Saharan region would hope to end the dominance exerted by the North African clubs. The 2022–23 Champions League went back to Cairo after Al Ahly defeated their arch-rivals, Wydad Casablanca from Morocco, the previous winners.

USM Alger emerged winners of the Confederation Cup after beating Tanzanian Mainland Premier League champions Yanga SC.
