Sha'Carri Richardson has admitted that Beyonce has also set the bar high for her as she looks to make history for Texas this season.

Double World champion Sha’Carri Richardson has admitted that American singer, songwriter, and businesswoman Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has paved the way for greatness in Texas and she feels obliged to follow in her footsteps.

The American singer, also born in Texas, in a city called Houston, and she has been able to cement herself in the music industry and make a name for Texas.

Beyoncé has established huge brands founder, chairwoman, and Chief Executive Officer of Parkwood Entertainment, Co-founder, CEO, and owner of Ivy Park and founder, chairwoman, and owner of Cécred.

Meanwhile, the track star was also born in Texas, in a town called Dallas and she believes she has to place the town on the world map.

“Beyoncé, being a fellow Texan herself, honestly, it is something that I feel like even in the state, we just have always had that mindset. I feel like our slogan is “Go big or go home.”

“And it’s always been that in everything that you do, put everything into it. If you’re not going to do it to your fullest, you shouldn’t do it at all. So, it’s a great energy to feed off of, and understanding that back home and seeing it’s getting a certain level of love and recognition is a big deal.

“And I just want to keep that motivation going for me to put on for Dallas, Texas, going into the world, going into the summer for the [Olympic] Games. I just want to continue to show that big things come out of Texas,” she said.

The 24-year-old has already started making big moves following her victory at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

The Dallas native was featured as the face of Nike's new fashion collaboration with the French brand "JACQUEMUS." The "JACQUEMUS x Nike" collection was announced last week with photos of Richardson modeling different pieces of the fashion line, including a handbag inspired by Nike's iconic "Swoosh" logo.

She was also later featured in the new Nike Air Max Dn advertisement alongside other big names including Drake, Billie Eilish, and Erling Haaland.
