Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano has praised the impact that the dynamic left-wing duo of Mike Oduor and Levin ‘Leftie’ Odhiambo have made since signing for the Brewers during the mid-season transfer window this year.
Oduor, a left winger, signed from KCB while left-back Odhiambo signed from Mathare United as Matano sought to address a solution to that flank.

Odhiambo signed for Tusker in the mid-season after stellar performances for Mathare United, having been a free agent just eight months ago.
The left back position had been giving Matano all sorts of problems prior to Odiambo’s arrival. Owing to Isaac Kipyegon’s suspension and Boniface Onyango's injury problems, Tusker had been forced to play with a makeshift left-back. Daniel Sakari, Jimmy Mbugua, and Kevin Monyi-all right backs had been filling in.
For the left wing position, Oduor was signed to bring more competition and depth in the wide positions to compete with Shami Mwinyi, John Njuguna, Lawrence Luvanda, and Eric Zakayo.
“We are working on being efficient in both flanks, not just one flank. We plan both flanks, but both (Oduor and Odhiambo) are combining well. In the attacking positions, they are ready to go.

Mozzart Bet Cup Aussems disappointed at missed opportunity to face "enemy" Matano in cup final
Leopards lost 2-1 to Kakamega Homeboyz in the semi-finals of the Mozzart Bet Cup.
“They explore the spaces in front of them well and they understand one another well. It is part of the team. It's a good pairing. I would prefer if both sides would become efficient in an attacking sense but I am happy that both have combined well.
Odhiambo has contributed four assists, with the latter two assists coming in each of his last two games with his excellent deliveries from the flanks against Kariobangi Sharks and Ulinzi Stars respectively.
Oduor has scored two goals and registered one assist so far. Odhiambo told Pulse Sports that his understanding with Oduor on the pitch was easy to forge because both have known each other for a while and played together while still young.
