Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has made a decision about his Manchester United future while telling one key forward to start looking for another club.

Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has reportedly informed his squad of his future at the club as the season comes to an end.

Amorim has presided over United’s worst-ever season as they are on course to finishing 16th in the Premier League and hopes of saving that with a Europa League win that would have generated lots of revenue through Champions League qualification went up in smoke.

United lost 1-0 to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the final in Bilbao on Wednesday and are now left to count the losses with the poor campaign set to come with some hard decisions on the squad.

Amorim has repeatedly said he will quit if United do not want him anymore, or if they start next season like this term, but according to The Athletic, he has informed his players that he will be around in 2025-26.

The network reports that Amorim had a talk with his squad on Saturday at their Carrington training base where he informed them of his plans for next season.

One man who is not in the Portuguese coach’s plans is young forward Alejandro Garnacho who Amorim told to find a new club in front of the rest of the squad as he appears to have gotten fed up with his antics.

Why Does Amorim Want Garnacho?

Alejandro Garnacho was disappointed he did not start the final against Tottenham.

What appears to have strained the relationship further is Garnacho’s interview after the Europa League final loss.

“It’s hard for everyone. The season was s***, both now losing the final tonight, and in the league, where we didn’t beat anyone, that’s the truth,” Garnacho said after the game in Bilbao.

“Up until the final, I’ve played every round, and today to play 20 minutes… I don’t know. I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens after.”

That did not go down well with Amorim who fired back by saying Garnacho had missed the biggest chance in the semi-final second leg with the player and his brother, who is his agent, feeling he was thrown under the bus.

Now, Garnacho, who came close to leaving United in January, is sure to depart as Amorim stamps his authority and the club also seeks to raise money to boost the coach’s squad with new signings.

United will play their final Premier League match of the season against Aston Villa on Sunday and it could be the last for a number of players both fringe and high-profile.
