Zambia have revealed their squad for the Four-Nations tournament, blending seasoned talents and newcomers aiming for strong showing and World Cup qualifiers preparation.

Zambia has unveiled its squad for the upcoming FIFA window Four-Nations tournament, as announced by the team's coach, Avram Grant.

The tournament, which is set to take place in Malawi from March 18-26, promises to be a thrilling event as it serves as a crucial part of the preparation for the June round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Under the guidance of coach Avram Grant, the Chipolopolo squad is a balanced mix of seasoned campaigners from their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations journey and fresh talents ready to make their mark.

Noteworthy among the squad are England-based striker Patson Daka, dynamic forward Lameck Banda, the experienced defender Stopilla Sunzu, Frank Musonda, and the young talent Miguel Chaiwa.

In a statement, Coach Grant emphasized the tournament's significance in evaluating local talent, given the limited number of Zambian players competing in European leagues.

"It will be a time to give opportunities to players who have proved themselves in the local league. We have about six promising players in the leagues in Europe that I feel can have a place in the national team in the future, but for now, the goal is to observe players who have been performing well here and give them a chance, and they have to prove themselves," said Grant.

Zambia is set to face formidable opponents in the tournament, joining hosts Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.

Each nation will compete in at least two games, providing a platform for teams to fine-tune their squads ahead of more competitive fixtures.
