Meanwhile, the race organisers have confirmed over $2 million which translates to over Ksh291 million to be up for grabs for top performers. This means the top three finishers of the race will head to the bank smiling after their hard work paid off.
Course record breakers and world record breakers are also in for a treat as they will receive a bonus for their extra hard work.
Meanwhile, World Athletics announced that for the indoor Gold meeting, at least Ksh 1,053,150 in prize money for each discipline on the programme, including Ksh 451,350 to the winner will be offered.
