Benson Murkomen Reveals What He Plans to Do with the Ksh 3.5 Million
Following his win, Benson Murkomen has since earned himself a whopping Ksh 3.5 million, and he intends to elevate the lives of his parents and grandmother.
Murkomen noted that he almost gave up at the 21km mark, but pushed through, and in no time, he had started dominating the race.
“The race was not bad…starting from the 21km mark, I was behind, and then my body responded well from the 28km mark and held onto the leading pack, and I started controlling the race and went on to win,” Benson Murkomen said after the race.
“I had seen someone running closely behind me, and he was looking very strong, so I had to put in the work. I put the work in training and made sure I came back here, and I’m glad to have won.
