1) Nike Zoom Fly 5

The Nike Zoom Fly 5 is best for long distance running and it weighs 8.5 ounces. As per Forbes, the shoe is carbon-plated and is very durable. It can also be used for training and is race-worthy.

The shoe is a bridge between Nike’s premium Super Shoes (Vaporfly 3 and Alphafly 3) and a standard daily trainer. The shoe uses a carbon fiber plate but it is also significantly heavier than the Vaporfly 3 and has a thicker upper than the premium racing models.

It is also warned that using a carbon-plated shoe for every run could lead to aches and pains, and possible injury.

2) Nike Invincible 3

The Nike Invincible 3 is one of Nike’s best running shoe for cushioning. The shoe weighs about 10.9 ounces and it provides maximum cushioning for an athlete and has a signature waffle outsole. However, in the recent past, some users have reported heel slippage and that the shoe has a wider fit that is too wide for narrow feet.

The Invincible 3 is specially made for runners who want a max-cushioned shoe since the shoe adds extra cushioning around the heel and tongue to deliver a soft, comfortable ride for distances of any length.

3) Nike Vaporfly 3

The Nike Vaporfly 3 is one of the favourites for road runners and is usually referred to as a super shoe. It has a full carbon fiber plate, responsive foam, positively no unnecessary bulk and also has a featherweight design.

It is warned that the shoe is 100% a distance-running racing shoe and should not be worn as a daily trainer since it is not designed to last.

4) Nike Structure 25

The Nike Structure 25 is designed for stability and it is good-for-some aggressive stability. It has Zoom Air Units that are air-filled bags sitting within the midsole. They compress and absorb force, and then return to their original shape.

5) Nike Pegasus Trail 4

The Nike Pegasus Trail 4 are specially created for trail running, for runners who want to seamlessly go from road to trail. The shoe uses the react foam for a responsive ride, and the outsole and lugs are not too soft, making the shoe road-friendly.

The Pegasus Trail 4 is supportive due to the brand’s Flywire technology that uses high-strength threads, like suspension cables on a bridge for added support, and its grippy outsole.
