Jurgen Klopp has chosen silence on heated spat with Mohamed Salah as Liverpool's title hopes hang by a thread.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah found himself embroiled in a heated touchline dispute with manager Jurgen Klopp during the recent Premier League clash against West Ham.

The incident which occurred as Salah prepared to enter the fray as a substitute sparked speculation and concern among fans and pundits alike.

While the details of the altercation remain shrouded in mystery Klopp opted to remain tight-lipped refusing to disclose the specifics of the argument as per BBC.

Liverpool striker Peter Crouch has since expressed his concern about the incident which happened on Saturday.

"It doesn't look good for the club. No one likes to see this between a manager and a key player," he said as per  TNT Sports.

Salah's frustration was palpable as he exchanged words with Klopp, seemingly perturbed by something said to him before being ushered away by teammates Darwin Nunez and Joe Gomez.

In a cryptic response captured on social media, Salah hinted at the intensity of the situation, proclaiming, "If I speak, there will be fire."

Klopp, however, sought to downplay the incident, asserting, "We spoke about that in the dressing room and it's done for me."

Despite the manager's attempt to quell the controversy, speculation continues to swirl regarding the future of both Salah and Klopp at the club.

With Klopp set to depart at the end of the season and Liverpool reportedly in talks with Feyenoord's Arne Slot as his successor, the uncertainty surrounding Salah's contract situation adds another layer of intrigue.

Amid rumors of a potential move to Saudi Arabia, Salah's future hangs in the balance, with pundits weighing in on the possibility of a departure.

Former Rangers striker Ally McCoist suggested that a move could benefit both parties, allowing Liverpool to reinvest the funds while affording Salah a fresh start elsewhere.

However, the Egyptian's impressive goal-scoring record this season underscores his importance to the team, leaving fans hopeful that a resolution can be reached.

Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock attributed the clash to a "clash of egos," emphasizing the importance of mutual respect between player and manager.
