Mamelodi Sundowns' performance analyst was recently seen at Nairobi United's training, sparking speculation about his role and influence on the team.

Mamelodi Sundowns performance analyst Dayle Solomon has been spotted at FKF National Super League outfit Nairobi United's training ground, sparking curiosity and excitement among football fans.

Solomon, who is rumored to be on holiday in Kenya, was seen preparing the team with final touches as they gear up for their first match of 2024 against MCF, scheduled at the Police Sacco Stadium.

Nairobi United shared photos of Solomon on their social media handles but did not clarify if his engagement was part of a voluntary effort or an exchange program with Mamelodi Sundowns.

Nairobi United have been without a coach for the last three weeks following the departure of the fast-rising Paul Okatwa, who left the club under unclear circumstances.

Okatwa was instrumental in Nairobi United's promotion after they edged out Zoo in the Division One promotion playoff.

His move to Vihiga Bullets, now expected to rebrand to Samwest Blackboots FC, has been a talking point in Kenyan football circles.

The team had shown interest in MCF tactician Vincent Nyaberi, but the move did not materialize, leaving a gap in the coaching staff.

Solomon's appearance at the training ground could be a timely intervention for Nairobi United, who are looking to solidify their strategy and performance in the upcoming matches.

Dayle Solomon is not new to assisting lower-league sides.

In the 2022/23 season, under the Motsepe Foundation, he was tasked with providing match analysis for coaches in the ABC Motsepe League in South Africa.

This initiative was part of the foundation's plan to uplift the league and improve the quality of football at the grassroots level.

Since joining the 24-man strong technical team of Mamelodi Sundowns in October 2020, Solomon has made a significant impact.

He took over from Musi Matlaba, who moved to the Egyptian side Al Ahly.

Solomon's visit to Nairobi United could be a game-changer for the team, offering a fresh perspective and new strategies.

Whether his role is temporary or part of a larger collaboration between Mamelodi Sundowns and Nairobi United remains to be seen.
