Former world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge will be in action at Sunday's Tokyo Marathon and here is how you can watch him live in action.

Five-time Berlin Marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge will be returning to the streets of Tokyo for Sunday’s Tokyo Marathon.

Kipchoge won the 2022 edition of the marathon and he returns with the hope of replicating his performance. He also won his second Olympic gold medal on the streets of Sapporo at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

He will enjoy the company of Vincent Kipkemoi Ngetich and Timothy Kiplagat and the race will surely be an emotional occasion after the passing of world record holder Kelvin Kiptum earlier in February.

The women’s field features distance running great Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands and defending champion Rosemary Wanjiru of Kenya, who will compete against each other for the first time.

The elite marathon will start at 4:10 a.m. since the time in China is five hours ahead of the East African Time.

As per Olympics.com, the World Athletics label road race – platinum, will be aired in 160 countries and territories around the world. Japan’s Nippon TV will air the elite races nationwide while Hulu and TVer, NITTERE TADA will offer the livestream.

Eurosport will broadcast in 63 countries, while Canal+ has rights in 47 territories. In the U.S. and Canada marathon fans can follow the action on Flo Sports, while Great Sports Media has the rights for the People’s Republic of China excluding Macau, China, Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong, China.

ESPN International will televise the race in 47 countries and territories in Latin America, Caribean, Brazil.
