Usain Bolt sparked comeback speculation with a viral video of himself sprinting on the track at the Bislett Games, drawing a nostalgic reaction from rival Justin Gatlin.

Usain Bolt has sent fans into a frenzy with new footage of himself back on the track.

The Jamaican sprinting legend, widely considered the greatest of all time, retired in 2017 after a career that saw him win eight Olympic gold medals across the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay.

Bolt hasn't raced competitively since the 2017 World Championships, where he suffered an injury in the 4x100m relay final.

However, a recent Instagram post hints at a possible return.

Gatlin, whom Bolt once called his toughest competitor, has a history with the Jamaican sprinter.

Bolt previously revealed that Gatlin spat across his lane before their first race against each other.

Last year, Bolt revealed to talkSPORT that he had received an offer to come out of retirement.

The 100m world record holder explained, "The CEO at the time, he's with Adidas now, offered me a proper contract if I wanted to come back. This was about two years after I retired. I talked to my coach, Glen Mills, and he said absolutely not."

"He told me, 'If you're going to retire, that's it. I'm not going to coach you again, no coming back.' I thought about it, because you miss it when you leave. But my coach shut it down quickly," he noted
