Tyreek Hill has called out Noah Lyles after an impressive 100m dash that is still incomparable to the Olympic champion.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill made waves on Friday, clocking a personal best of 10.15 seconds in the 100-meter dash at the Last Chance Sprint Series in Sherman Oaks, California.

This was Hill's first 100-meter race since 2014, and his time was the fastest among the 91 sprinters in the heats.

Following his impressive run, Hill immediately called out track star Noah Lyles, declaring, "Noah could never," reminiscent of Lyles's call out after his New Balance triumoh back in February.

Can Not To Get Enough of Each Other

The two have publicly discussed a potential race before the U.S. outdoor championships in July.

Hill's return to track at 31 years old and his near world-championship-caliber time is a remarkable feat, highlighting the exceptional athleticism of NFL players.

His time, even with a 1.2 mph tailwind, would have qualified him for the semifinals of the 100-meter dash at the 2024 Olympics.

While Hill's performance is undeniably impressive, his rivalry is with arguably the best sprinter in the world.

While Hill's time is excellent, it's not quite up to Lyles' standards. Lyles ran a 10.14 in 2015 at just 18 years old.

He's since won Olympic gold with a time of 9.79 seconds and the 2023 world championship with a time of 9.83.

Lyles hasn't run slower than 10.15 seconds in a World Athletics event since April 2022.

In elite sprinting, fractions of a second make a significant difference, and closing the gap between Hill and Lyles requires immense training and natural talent.

While Hill might have a chance against a currently ankle-injured Lyles, it's important to acknowledge that he hasn't yet reached Lyles' level.

However, Hill's ambition is clear. He previously stated his goal of running a 10-flat time and expressed his desire to race Lyles and compete in the 2028 Olympics as a track athlete. This rivalry is far from over.

This latest event adds to a busy offseason for Hill, which included walking back comments about wanting to leave Miami after their season-ending loss and a domestic incident in April involving a police call regarding the safety of his daughter.
