The five-time UEFA Champions League winner feels there will be an avalanche of goals in the highly awaited match.

Five-time UEFA Champions League winner Gareth Bale has predicted a 5-0 win for Manchester City in Saturday night’s final pitting the Premier League champions against Serie A giants Inter Milan.

With just hours to kick off, Bale thinks Pep Guardiola’s men are heavy favourites against Simone Izanghi’s side hence the big scoreline.

Bale was speaking on Saturday afternoon at an event conducted by Sony PlayStation, who are the sponsors of the competition.

In a one-minute rapid-fire question round, he was presented with a number of questions ranging from who will win the ‘Big Ears’ trophy and best player to have graced the competition.

Bale scored two crucial goals against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League 2017-18 final, helping Real Madrid to a 3-1 win and a their third-consecutive UCL title.

His second goal was a piece of art as he scored via a bicycle kick and is ranked among the best goals scored in a Champions League final.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player thinks that Kevin De Bruyne will be the best player on the pitch during the final. De Bruyne has made 10 appearances in the Champions League this season, scoring two goals while providing six assists.

The former Madrid forward also annoyed Los Blancos supporters by declaring Barcelona legend Lionel Messi as the best player to have ever won the Champions League. Messi won the trophy four times with Barcelona in 2006, 2009, 2011, and 2015.

Manchester City are seeking to equal city rivals Manchester United by becoming the second English team to win the treble of thePremier League, FA Cup, and Champions League. With the first two already in the bag, only Inzanghi’s men stand in the way of their maiden European trophy.
