Stephen Awino 17:19 - 04.07.2025

Athletics Kenya has rescheduled the national trials for the 2025 World Athletics Championships.

Athletics Kenya has officially announced a change in dates for the national trials to select Team Kenya for the upcoming World Athletics Championships set to take place in Tokyo later this year.

Initially scheduled for early August, the trials will now be held on Tuesday, July 22, at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi.

The change, according to the federation, was necessitated by the unavailability of the stadium on the previously scheduled dates of August 1-2.

Athletes and stakeholders have been urged to adjust their training and logistical plans accordingly to align with the new trial schedule.
