Sha'Carri Richardson has expressed delight after a billboard from her billion-dollar ambassadorial deal was mounted in her hometown, Dallas.

After signing an ambassadorial deal for the Nike and Jacquemus collab, Sha’Carri Richardson has landed yet another massive achievement.

Richardson’s billboard has been hung in her hometown in Dallas, and the American could not be more excited about the rare opportunity.

She posted the beautiful photo of the billboard on her Instagram page, captioning it: “The little girl that was raised in South Dallas on the other side of town, posted up in Downtown Dallas repping 214 where I go.”

She also took to her X (Twitter) handle, sharing her excitement in a post saying: “Being from the city, representing the city to being posted in the city.”

Meanwhile, Nike officially announced its collaboration with French fashion brand Jacquemus, which has Richardson as the face of the campaign.

The announcement was revealed on Nike's Instagram page, where they posted a series of branded pictures of Richardson to make public the collaboration.

With the latest development, it may now be a positive sign to the reports of Richardson signing a $20000000 (Ksh 2.9 billion) ambassadorial deal with Nike.

Part of the reported contract details will see her do several campaigns with the shoe brand, such as pioneering a new era of inclusive sportswear through the co-creation of a signature line designed specifically for women of all shapes and sizes.

The two brands crafted the new collection based on the belief that sport isn’t simply about performance, but also an expansion of style and self.

Continuing to take inspiration from vintage ACG and ’90s Nike campaigns, this season integrates new themes of “femininity, being true to self, connecting to nature, performance, and speed.”

“Fashion is so personal and I definitely use it to express myself – it can show how you feel, your mood, your creativity.

“From the colors you wear to the risks you take, fashion can be an outlet to show the world a little bit of who you are.

“And that’s why I’m inspired by Simon’s collection; the pieces are edgy and elegant at the same time and it inspires me to keep showing up as I am, while hopefully inspiring others to do the same,” Richardson said.
