Despite her rising momentum, Nugent revealed that she’s now taking time off from the track.
“I’m done until August, so ya’ll won’t see me until August. Your baby needs a rest,” she quipped, hinting at the need to prioritize recovery and preparation for what’s expected to be a high-stakes end to the season.
Reflecting on the significance of lining up alongside the world's top hurdlers, Nugent acknowledged the experience as both humbling and motivating.
“It is a really good feeling because these are ladies that I’ll always show up with at every meet. Getting the feel of them a bit more this season is a great feeling.”
