Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt on why his music company will prioritise dancehall music

Bolt has revealed why his A-Team Lifestyle label will prioritise producing Dancehall music after recently releasing its sixth album.

Former Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt has revealed why his A-Team Lifestyle music production firm will prioritise producing dancehall music.

Bolt’s firm recently released  Escape Riddim, the sixth album compilation featuring 10 tracks including the instrumental.

The 10 tracks have been sang by among others, International recording Reggae/Dancehall artists Christopher Martin and Busy Signal.

According to Bolt , he and his team decided to put together a Reggae Soul music production as it is music that influenced them while growing up.

“Growing up we enjoyed all the subsets of Dancehall music," Bolt said.

"As we continue to dive into the production of music we will produce music that influenced us. Lovers Rock Dancehall always give that smooth rhythmic soul feeling which is the tone of the Escape Riddim.

“Every artist expressed themselves in a unique way, thus allowing this project to cover all the many emotions of this Reggae lovers rock beat,” Bolt continued.

Bolt, an eight-time Olympic gold medallist and the only sprinter to achieve consecutive Olympic 100m and 200m titles in three Olympics, highlighted the influence of Reggae Soul music on his upbringing.

The Escape Riddim, distributed by MarvMent, is available on various streaming platforms, including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, and Tidal. A web link  has been provided for easy access.

Bolt's A-Team Lifestyle has previously released albums such as Olympe Rosé, Immortal Riddim,  Clockwork Riddim, and Country Yutes, along with 9.58 Riddim. 

The legendary sprinter, known for his world records and Olympic achievements, continues to make a mark in the music industry with his production endeavors.
