Kenya thrashed Tunisia 40-7 in their fourth clash of the tournament, and must now beat Ghana and Uganda later on Thursday to proceed to the next round.

Kenya Morans have tossed aside Tunisia 40-7 in their fourth clash of the ongoing African Games to get their campaign back on track, having lost their first two games of the competition to Bukina Faso and Zibambwe respectively.

Morans, who thrashed Benin 55-0 in their third game of the tournament, will be facing Ghana and then Uganda in their last Pool clashes of the tournament, hoping to gain maximum points in order to advance to the third round.

George Ooro landed Kenya’s first well converted try when he nonchalantly tore through the center of the park before walking through the goalposts to give them a 7-0 lead.

Dennis Abukuse would land the second try of the afternoon, this time not converted. Tunisia momentarily got back into the game with a converted try, but that was as far as it got for them, as Kenya went all guns blazing from then on.

Ooro would then line-break again before landing it again through the tryline to convert it again, before Crisant Ojwang landed another try which he converted again on his own.

Abukuse scored another unconverted try, before the Kenyans hit the nail in Tunisia’s coffin with another converted one to seal the victory.
