Despite a strong start and early lead, Kenya Morans were edged out by Zimbabwe to miss out on the bronze medal at the Rugby Africa Sevens.

Kenya's national rugby sevens team, Kenya Morans, fighting for a bronze medal at the Rugby Africa Sevens in Mauritius, put up a good fight going up against Zimbabwe with the hope of claiming the bronze medal, but their efforts were not enough.

Earning the team five points, Jackson Siketi then failed to convert successfully. Shortly after, Dennis Abukuse then scored another try with Zimbabwe still struggling to make a mark. The conversion was successful, placing Kenya ahead with 12 points.
