The Kenya Rugby Union has included Embu 7s as part of the 2025 National Sevens Circuit, but made one surprising change to the 2024 edition.
Kenya’s beloved sevens rugby returns this summer with a refreshed 2025 National Sevens Circuit, featuring six electrifying legs across the country from July to September.
The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) released the official schedule, confirming stops in Mombasa, Nakuru, Nairobi, Embu, Meru, and Kisumu — while announcing the removal of Kakamega’s Ingo 7s, a fixture from previous years.
Following bidding opportunities earlier this year, Embu Sevens has secured hosting rights for the August event, replacing Kakamega’s former Ingo leg.
