KCB have made Faraj Ominde their eight signing of the January transfer window in efforts to get back to winning ways.
KCB head coach Bernard Mwalala believes the eight new players that he has signed will play a huge role in helping bring their title challenge back on track after recent setbacks.
The Bankers have fallen off a cliff recently after a good first 15 games of the season, which was epitomised by their 5-0 loss to Tusker a fortnight ago.
Mwalala lost seven players in January, including his spine consisting of Byrne Omondi in goal, Apollo Otieno in midfield and Francis Kahiro upfront, which forced him into going into the market to replace them.

Last week, seven new players were unveiled at the club, and now the side have also added an eight signing in Faraj Ominde -brother to AFC Leopards duo of Aziz Okaka and Jaffari Owiti.
Speaking during the unveiling of Ominde during a training session at the Thika Stadium on Friday morning, Mwalala said the team is now well-oiled to challenge for a top-four finish.
“We are going through a transition process now as new players continue coming in. We need them to quickly adapt to our style of play and hit the ground running,” Mwalala said.

Mwalala’s backline of Kevin Okumu, Harriet Munga, Haniff Wesonga, and newcomer Francis Oduor to keep their positions as deputy captain Brian Onyango controls the midfield.
