Former Trans Nzoia Falcons player Leah Wanyama needs help after a torn knee ligament sustained in the Governor Natembeya Cup left her requiring Ksh500,000 to treat

A former Trans Nzoia Falcons player is in dire need of help after picking up a knee injury during the Governor George Natembeya Cup tournament that took place in December.

Leah Wanyama has been left fighting and struggling for herself while in need of support at her most critical stage as she needs an urgent surgery to help fix her torn ligament and is now causing her a difficult time.

After visiting several doctors in Kitale, it was at St Luke's Hospital in Eldoret where the medical staff recommended an MRI scan at the cost of Ksh13,500 before going for therapy to ease the muscles around the injured area due to stiffness of the knee ahead of surgery, which will cost Ksh400,000.

It has been estimated that Wanyama will need around Ksh500,000 to facilitate her medical bills, transportations, appointments and diet.

Wanyama and her family are now calling for well wishers to come through for her in order to help her overcome that unfortunate setback so that she can return onto the football pitch as soon as possible.

Well-wishers can support her through her telephone number 0748247538.
