Everything you need to know about the FIFA Club World Cup 2025: teams, groups, fixtures, venues, dates, and kickoff times.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup kicks off on June 14 in the United States, with hosts Inter Miami taking on Egypt’s Al Ahly in the opening match at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. The month-long tournament will conclude with the final on July 13 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

A total of 32 teams will compete across 63 matches in 11 cities across the U.S.: Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York/New Jersey, Orlando, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

The group stage runs until June 26, followed by the knockout stage beginning June 28. To advance, teams must finish in the top two of their respective groups.

Manchester City enters the tournament as the defending champions, having won the previous edition in December 2023.

Group B: Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Botafogo, Seattle Sounders

Group C: Bayern Munich, Auckland City, Boca Juniors, Benfica

Group D: Flamengo, Esperance de Tunis, Chelsea, Los Angeles FC

Each group consists of four teams, playing in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group move on to the round of 16. From there, the tournament follows a single-elimination format: round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final.

In knockout matches, if the score is tied at the end of regular time, two 15-minute halves of extra time will be played. If still tied, the match will be decided by penalties.
