Liverpool secured a narrow victory against PSG in France as they take a step closer to the next round.

The Reds were second best in the game as the French team pinned the visitors, limiting them to a few chances.

However, they were able to carve out an opportunity to steal a 1-0 victory and head to England with a goal advantage.

As it happened

Liverpool made just the one change from their win over Newcastle at left-back, with Andy Robertson coming back in for Kostas Tsimikas.

Three changes for Paris St-Germain from the side who beat Lille 4-1 at the weekend. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Willian Pacho and Vitinha replaced Lucas Beraldo, Desire Doue and Goncalo Ramos.

PSG, with so much confidence, took the game to Liverpool in the first half and scored the first goal but was disallowed for offside.
