"Winning the Premier League and having such an impact on the team. I've never felt such happiness at the club. That moment when we won the title against Tottenham, having such an influence with the number of goals and assists. Also achieving this success after so many great players and a good manager left is so special," said Salah, collecting the award for the third time.
"When I started the season, I was thinking, 'Okay, will I be able to do it again?' I was having this conversation with myself. I told myself, 'Okay, let's find out.' It was kind of like, 'Okay, you need to work hard, set an example,' (so) I did my job and I think I did really well."
We have a very good group of players and a very good manager. We started the season well and now we've won the Premier League. Hopefully, we can do it again, and also win the Champions League," added the Egyptian.
