Ghanaian champions Medeama earn CAF praise for dapper display in stylish suits ahead Al Ahly clash

The 2023/24 CAF Champions Leagues will resume for the Group Stages this weekend with Ghana's Medeama in Egypt to face Al Ahly.

Ghanaian club Medeama SC has impressed CAF after a stylish appearance ahead of the CAFCL encounter against giants Al Ahly. 

CAF has acknowledged the Ghanaian champions for their dress sense after they arrived in Cairo for the all-important clash. 

Medeama gets CAF praise

The Remo Stars slayers have arrived in Cairo in what would be their first-ever participation in the Group Stages.

CAFCL makes a long-awaited return for the lucrative group stages which is expected to kick off this weekend across the continent.

Medeama, who have impressed in their maiden season in the competition, will go head-to-head with the club of the century, Al Ahly on Saturday. 

Ahead of the clash, the Ghanaian team arrived in Cairo, sporting a sharp and classic look as the team was dressed in purple suits. 

Their appearance caught the attention of CAF, who took to social media platform, X.com, to praise the West Africans.

Per the CAF website, after an intense preliminary round that saw some interesting outcomes and upsets, it is now down to the 16 clubs that have been grouped into the four groups of four to resume their continental quest for glory.

While the action gets underway on Friday night when Pyramids welcome five-time champions, TP Mazembe, record winners and defending champions, Al Ahly will host Medeama in another enthralling clash.
