Hamisa Mobetto has publicly supported her husband Aziz Ki's move to Morocco's Wydad, even though it meant leaving her home country's club, Yanga SC.

Stephane Aziz Ki ditched his wife Hamisa Mobetto’s home team, Tanzania’s Yanga SC, for Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club.

Despite his move from Tanzania, Hamisa Mobetto, a fashion entrepreneur and socialite, has cheered her husband for making such a huge milestone in his career, seemingly choosing her love for him over her country.

Hamisa Mobetto and Aziz Ki tied the knot on Sunday, February 16, 2025. The couple’s Nikah ceremony took place at the Nnuur Mosque in Mbweni, Dar es Salaam.

The ceremony was officiated by Sheikh Walid Alhad Omar, alongside other clerics. In terms of dowry payment, Aziz Ki presented 30 cows and Sh 30 million, and his move to Morocco certainly requires her support.

Hamisa Mobetto was present during Aziz Ki's unveiling, and she penned a heartfelt message, congratulating her husband.

She shared a lengthy post on her Instagram page, noting that Aziz Ki is one of the hardest-working people she knows, and he deserves all the great things in life.

Hamisa Mobetto added that Aziz Ki is always hungry for success, and she did not have any doubts that he would show up for the Moroccan giants in style.

“As your wife, your best friend, and your number one fan, my prayer every day is for you to succeed beyond the greatness you always dream of. Keep shining, keep believing, keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I know this is a new beginning of greater things,” Hamisa Mobetto said.

“I am behind you every step of the way, in every fight, every goal, and every dream you fight for. We love you, we pray for you, and we are with you until the end.”

How Much Will Aziz Ki Earn After Signing with Wydad?

Aziz Ki has penned a two-year contract with Wydad, where he is set to earn an annual salary of $480,000 (approximately Ksh62 million), translating to $40,000 (Ksh5.2 million) per month.

On top of his salary, he will receive a signing bonus of $150,000 (Ksh19.4 million), with additional performance-based incentives for goals and assists, though the exact figures remain undisclosed.

As part of the lucrative deal, he will also be provided with a house, a car, and business-class air travel.
