Former Manchester United defender Alex Telles answers a question on Cristiano Ronaldo's temperament after losing.

Alex Telles has got the inside scoop on what it's like to share the pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo, both at Manchester United, the Portuguese national team, and now at Al-Nassr.

With Ronaldo's reputation for being ultra-competitive, especially when the chips are down, Telles spills the beans on whether CR7 really gets under his teammates' skin when they're not winning.

Telles Speaks on Ronaldo's Leadership

"He is a born captain and leader, everyone knows his way of dealing with football, due to his professionalism... And the good thing about that is that he is a positive leader, always pushing the team for the positive, he never lets the team throw in the towel,” the Portugal international shared with Sapo Desporto.

“We use that as an example, he is very influential in our team, for us he is an asset.” It's clear that Ronaldo's intense drive is more of a boost than a bother, pushing the team forward with his never-say-die attitude.

Ronaldo's Influence Beyond the Pitch

Telles didn't just follow Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia on a whim. CR7 was instrumental in his decision, turning recruiter to bring Telles over.

"Cristiano Ronaldo was a very important part of my coming here. We exchanged messages beforehand. My agent was involved. But obviously, when it comes to the legend Cristiano Ronaldo, the greatness he has clearly made it easier for me to come," Telles explained. Even off the field, Ronaldo's impact is massive, shaping Al-Nassr's squad with his gravitational pull.

While Ronaldo had to sit out the latest match due to a suspension triggered by some heated reactions to crowd taunts, his influence remains undeniable. With 34 goals this season and a crucial AFC Champions League quarter-final on the horizon, Ronaldo's return is eagerly awaited, showing that whether he's playing or not, his presence is always felt.
