World's football governing body FIFA, have received that they have recieved four expressions of interest since sending out an invitation to all member associations to bid for the hosting of the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2027.
The 2023 tournament will see Australia and New Zealand, co-host the ninth edition of the women's tournament, with the host of the 10th edition expected to be announced on May 17, 2024.

4 identified bids for 2027 Women's World Cup
So far, four bids have been annnounced and noted by FIFA, ahead of May 17th's FIFA Congress where the winning bid would be announced.
Four confederations - CAF, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, and UEFA - have expressed interest in hosting the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, with the remaining two confederations - AFC (Australia) and OFC (New Zealand) - serving as host nations for the 2023 edition.
They include;
- Brazil
- Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany (joint expression of interest)
- South Africa
- The United States and Mexico (joint expression of interest)

FIFA excited with indicated bids
“We are thrilled by the expressions of interest received, not least because they come from member associations with a strong football tradition representing four confederations, thus confirming the consistent popularity of women’s football across the world,” said FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura.
“All member associations can rely on the most robust and comprehensive bidding process in the history of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.”
