The fastest man in the world, a 17-year-old high schooler, has opened up on drawing inspiration from triple World champion Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo among other sprinting stars.
Many might think the fastest man in the world right now is either triple world champion Noah Lyles or world 60m record holder Christian Coleman but it is a high schooler, Christian Miller.
The 17-year-old clocked an impressive 9.93 to cross the finish line while winning the 100m at the PURE Athletics Elite Invitational. Lyles comes second behind the youngster after clocking 9.96 at the USTAF Bermuda Grand Prix.

Christian Coleman ready to rumble with fellow big boys at the USTAF Olympic trials
Fans will be treated to a thrilling show at the USTAF Olympic trials following Christian Coleman's recent revelation.
Following his exploits, the youngster admitted that growing up, he used to follow the world’s fastest man in the 100m and 200m Usain Bolt, and always wanted to be like him.

However, with the rise of other sprinters, Miller disclosed that he now closely watches Lyles, the two-time World 200m champion, and the World Indoor 60m champion Coleman.
“I used to look at Usain Bolt a lot because he was a very huge inspiration and recently I look up to a lot of greats like Noah Lyles, Christian Coleman, Letsile Tebogo, and Erryon Knighton," the youngster said.
“I look up to a lot of great athletes and most of them not from America because they produce great times and shine all around the world."
Meanwhile, the high schooler opened his season at the Pepsi Florida Relays on March 29 where he won the race, stopping the clock at 10.14. He also competed in the 4x100m relay at the event and propelled his team to victory in 40.72.

All athletes hoping and planning to compete at the Olympics will be required to undergo at least three out-of-competition tests.
The youngster did not stop at that as he continued the winning streak to the PURE Athletics Elite Invitational. Competing in the heats, he clocked 10.06 for a win before setting a world leading time in the final of the event.
