American YouTuber and viral sensation IShowSpeed has had what might be the most unforgettable week of his life and it is just gotten better.

The eight-time Olympic gold medalist made a surprise appearance — virtually — during one of Speed’s live streams, sending the young creator a message that has sent fans into a frenzy.

“My G what’s good, we can link up any time,” Bolt’s message read as per TalkSport.

“I'm retired now, so I'm not running, but I can coach you to go faster. You're already fast, but everybody wants to be faster, right?"

Private Training with a Legend

The message, which Speed proudly showed on his phone to thousands of viewers watching live, marks a surreal turn in what was already a dream week for the content creator.

Absolutely beaming with joy, Speed immediately replied with a voice note that captured his disbelief and excitement.

“Yooooooo, private training with Usain Bolt! Usain Bolt you’re a legend thank you,” he said.

“Let’s lock that training session in, I love you bro, let’s get this training session in this year, I love you man.”

Bolt, widely regarded as the greatest sprinter of all time, still holds world records in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay.

His unexpected outreach to a YouTube star not only highlights Bolt’s playful spirit but also shows how viral personalities like Speed are bridging entertainment, sports, and internet culture.

Speed’s Rising Star in Football and Beyond

Speed’s recent European adventure has seen him climb new heights. While in Munich for the Champions League final, he played a central role in CBS’ coverage of Paris Saint-Germain’s 5-0 demolition of Inter Milan.

Appearing alongside regulars Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards, Speed brought his signature energy to live segments and off-air hijinks, including racing both pundits behind the scenes.

His week was filled with high-profile encounters, including a visit to Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena and a meet-up with Canadian speedster Alphonso Davies. During the encounter, Speed made sure to let the footballing world know just how quick he believes he is.

“There’s no footballer that’s faster than me, [Kylian Mbappe’s] not quicker than me no,” he declared.

“No footballer, I swear, in a 40 or 50 yard race they’re not faster than me, I promise you that. I’m faster than Kyle Walker. I don’t think you understand how fast I am.”

Carragher, never one to pass up a witty comeback, fired back: “I don’t think you understand how fast you are, you’re not that fast.” When reminded by Speed of a previous foot race he won, Carragher deadpanned: “I’m 47.”

Speed failed to outpace Carragher in their CBS hallway dash but it was a different story when he lined up against U.S. Olympic gold medallist Noah Lyles, where his confidence was quickly humbled.

Still, the Bolt invite caps off a whirlwind week for IShowSpeed and opens a thrilling new chapter.
