Team USA has named a strong squad to the World Relays Championships with Noah Lyles and Gabby Thomas among the star names selected.

World-renowned sprinters Noah Lyles and Gabby Thomas headline the 28-athlete strong USA Track and Field roster for the upcoming World Athletics Relays, scheduled to take place from May 4-5 in Nassau, Bahamas.

The duo's inclusion reflects the nation's formidable line-up as they aim to secure top positions in the men's and women's 4x100m and 4x400m events, as well as the mixed-gender 4x400m relay.

The stakes are high at the World Relays, with Olympic qualification on the line. The top 14 nations in each of the aforementioned events will secure coveted spots for the Paris Olympics, adding an extra layer of intensity and significance to the competition.

Lyles, who etched his name in history books last August by becoming the first sprinter to sweep world titles in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m since the legendary Usain Bolt in 2015, will be a key figure in the men's 4x100m pool.

Lyles, known for his blistering speed and unwavering determination, will be joined by the likes of Olympic 200m silver medallist Kenny Bednarek, among other seasoned athletes.

Meanwhile, Gabby Thomas, a force to be reckoned with in women's sprinting, will spearhead the women's 4x100m pool alongside Tamari Davis.

Thomas, who clinched silver in the 200m at the world championships, brings both speed and experience to the relay team, having been part of the world championship-winning relay squad last August.

The US 4x400m pools boast formidable talent as well, with Tokyo Olympic Trials 400m champion Quanera Hayes leading the charge for the women and reigning US men’s 400m champion Bryce Deadmon showcasing his prowess in the men's relay team.

With a star-studded line-up and an unwavering determination to secure Olympic qualification, Team USA is poised to make a resounding statement at the World Relays Championships, showcasing the nation's depth and dominance in the realm of sprinting.
