Both sides have already secured semi-final births but KCB have eyes on ending Kabras’ unbeaten run when both sides face each other on Saturday,

KCB head coach Curtis Olago is bullish his charges will upset Kabras Sugar to stand a chance of finishing top of the regular 2023/2024 season.

The Bankers have lost just one game all season, which was to Menengai Oilers last weekend, but have already practically secured a home semi-final slot in the quest to clinch their first Kenya Cup in three seasons.

Olago has challenged his charges to put their disappointing result to Oilers behind them and focus on beating Kabras if they are to finish top of the table.

“We won't dwell on the previous match. Our focus is on tomorrow's match against a very tough opponent and throughout the week we have been working on the areas that we feel we need to improve on. I’m confident my players will deliver a good result,”  Olago told Citizen TV.

“We are aware they are a very strong side that is why they are still unbeaten in the league so far, but we have players and quality to match them.

“ I believe my team will fight hard to get a good result, we are going for a win," a confident Olago said.

As both Kabras Sugar and KCB have already secured Kenya Cup semifinal berths based on current seeding, the upcoming match serves as a crucial opportunity for KCB to finish at the top of the table.

The focus now remains on overcoming the formidable challenge posed by Kabras Sugar and maintaining momentum as they approach the playoff stage.
