Brentford Hold Firm as Manchester United Struggle to Land Bryan Mbeumo Amid Transfer Complications
Manchester United’s efforts to sign Bryan Mbeumo are stalling as Brentford stand firm on their valuation, and transfer complications arise with another Premier League club involved.
He became a hot property this summer after scoring 20 goals and chipping in with nine assists last season, all of them bagged in 38 Premier League games, as he did not miss a single match for the London club.
A right winger, who can also play as an inside forward, the left-footed Mbeumo will add firepower to Ruben Amorim’s attack and will likely play as one of the two No10s in the Portuguese coach’s preferred 3-4-3 system, alongside another new signing Matheus Cunha, while captain Bruno Fernandes drops deeper into the No8 role.
