Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has responded to the announcement of star player Kelvin De Bruyne leaving the club at the end of the season.
The Belgian revealed on his social media account that he will be leaving the Citizens at the end of the season, ending his 10 years stint at the Etihad.
The midfielder has struggled to get back to his best this season after being hit with injuries that has seen him miss a lot of games.
De Bruyne, who joined City In 2015 has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, one UEFA Champions League and two Community Shield.

Ahead of Manchester City's game at the weekend against their rivals Manchester United, Guardiola has spoken about the news of De Bruyne's departure.

Speaking with Sky Sports, he said, “"It's a sad day. What he gives all of us which is humanity and of course, I don't have to tell you his influence on our success in the last decade -- it would be impossible to imagine without him.
"It's a sad day because a part of us is leaving. When Vincent Kompany left or Sergio Aguero left or David Silva -- these players that have made such a big contribution -- it's a sad day.

"We still have 10 games and hopefully 11, six games at home, that we can enjoy with our fans and he will get I'm pretty sure, the love and recognition that he deserves.”
The 33-year-old has established himself as one of the greatest midfielders in the Premier League, having made 413 appearances, scoring 106 goals and providing 174 assists.
