While the striker is reportedly on board, the potential move could face a serious stumbling block that threatens to scupper the deal.

Osimhen reportedly agrees Juventus deal

According to journalist Raffaele Auriemma, Osimhen has already reached a “total agreement” with Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli, the very man who brought him to Napoli from Lille back in 2020.

The pair share a strong professional relationship, and with Osimhen’s loan spell at Galatasaray winding down, he’s now eyeing a fresh start in Turin.

His contract includes a release clause, officially set at €80 million but expected to drop to €75 million soon. That figure makes him more accessible than last summer’s €110 million price tag.

Despite strong expectations that he would head to the Premier League or Saudi Arabia, where clubs could match his €12 million annual wage demands, interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United has cooled. Juventus, it seems, have made the boldest move so far, and Osimhen has responded with a yes.

Napoli refuse to let Osimhen go

The problem with Osimhen’s potential transfer from Napoli to Juventus remains the Partenopei’s club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Still stinging from the infamous Gonzalo Higuaín-to-Juventus saga, Napoli have since inserted special clauses in contracts to block big names from jumping ship to Serie A rivals.

De Laurentiis reportedly wants more than the release clause if Osimhen is to wear black and white. So, even with Osimhen’s blessing, Juventus may have to dig deeper or structure a creative deal to sway Napoli’s stubborn chief.

Meanwhile, Juventus director Giuntoli hinted Dusan Vlahovic may be sold this summer, a move that could help fund Osimhen’s arrival.
