Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy has been lauded for the positive influence he is having on his players beyond what he gives them tactically.
McCarthy has been in charge since March, having overseen two matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, and he is now preparing his team for the delayed 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN 2024).
McCarthy has called a team made of many local-based players ahead of two friendlies against Chad on June 6 and 10 and he seems to have had a great influence on them going by the words of Ulinzi Stars forward Boniface Muchiri.
