Jurgen Klopp says managing Germany would be “a great honour” — but insists he will stay at Liverpool for the rest of his contract.
Germany boss Hansi Flick is under intense pressure after a run of just four wins in the past 16 matches.
Klopp, whose current deal runs until 2026, has been touted as a possible successor ahead of next summer’s Euros but the Liverpool manager has ruled himself out of the running.

“The job of national coach is and would be a great honour — there’s no question about that,“ Klopp said.
“The problem that stands in the way of the whole thing is my loyalty. I can’t just leave Liverpool now and say I’ll take over Germany for a short time. That doesn’t work and the request isn’t even there.”
Klopp has previously stated that he intends to take a break from football when his time at Anfield ends.
“If I’m supposed to do that (manage Germany) at some point, then I have to be available and I’m not currently. I have a responsibility towards the club,” he added at a panel discussion hosted by the Fischer group of companies on their 75th anniversary.

Liverpool have shown great intent in the transfer market, having already secured the signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to revamp their midfield.
