CHAN 2024 Ticketing Information: Here’s How Much It Will Cost You to Watch a Match
The CHAN 2024 tournament is just around the corner and prices for match tickets across all three host nations have been revealed to fans.
Uganda Explain Reasoning Behind Ticket Pricing
Uganda CHAN LOC chairman Dr Dennis Mugimba says the price came about after a request from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to ensure the tickets are affordable to fans of all classes so that the stadiums are full.
“CAF has advised that we make ticket prices affordable for everyone. At the moment, we were advised to consider a 1 $, 2 $ and 3 $ ticketing model for the ordinary, VIP and VVIP and each country will depend on that to price tickets,” Mugimba said as per Ugandan outlet Kawowo Sports.
“We want every Ugandan to feel part of this moment. CHAN 2024 is not just about football — it’s about showcasing who we are as a nation.”
Uganda will play all their matches at the new-look Mandela National Stadium (Namboole) and are in a tricky Group C that has Niger, Guinea, Algeria and South Africa.
