‘It was my childhood dream to play for PSG’ — World Cup runner-up reveals

France international striker Randal Kolo Muani has revealed that he dreamt about playing for PSG as a child, revelling in his ability to fulfil that dream

French striker Randal Kolo Muani has endeared himself to Paris Saint-Germain fans after claiming that it has always been his dream to play for Les Parisiens.

Kolo Muani reveals childhood dream of joining PSG

Kolo-Muani joined the French giants in the summer of 2023 off the back of an impressive 2022 World Cup performance and was keen to express his love for the club in a recent interview with RMCSport.

The France international enjoyed a productive 2022/23 season, with Frankfurt scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists in 46 matches before moving to PSG in a deal worth €95 million.

Speaking ahead of PSG’s UEFA Champions League match against AC Milan, the forward said, “Playing for PSG? It was a childhood dream that I wanted to realize, and I am in the process of making it come true. For me, it’s just a pride to wear this jersey and especially being French.”

Kolo Muani living the dream at PSG

Kolo Muani spoke about the joy of finally fulfilling his childhood dream of playing for PSG, saying, “It’s a pleasure to come to the Campus, to see the crest, to play for PSG… For me, it’s just a dream.

“I realize my dream and I play to continue working, to continue playing my football, to develop. I just continue to enjoy it.”

Since his arrival, Kolo Muani has settled well in Paris, scoring three goals in 10 games for PSG across Ligue 1 and the UCL.
