Sevilla manager Garcia Pimienta has finally opened up on the future of Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho joined Sevilla on a free transfer last summer after leaving Premier League side Leicester City.
The 28-year-old has struggled to make any real impact since joining the Seville side, failing to score a single goal in 9 LaLiga games.

‘The market is open’ - Sevilla sporting director gives update on Iheanacho’s future
Sevilla sporting director Victor Orta has revealed that the team is willing to sell Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho.
Despite scoring three goals in two Copa Del Rey appearances, it appears his time with Sevilla is about to be cut short.
Speaking on Iheanacho's situation, Sevilla boss Pimienta said;
"I don’t know if Kelechi will stay until the end of the season. Offers have come in for him. He’s well-established in England and surely wants more playing time.

“I understand he wants to leave, but if I consider he needs to play, he will play. For some reason, Iheanacho hasn’t performed here at the level we all expect, including himself.
With his CV, some things just don’t make sense. Watching him train, you’d say, ‘This guy has more than enough quality,” Pimienta added.
Iheanacho reportedly has strong interest from Championship club Leeds United.
