Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards fans who bought tickets for the original Mashemeji Derby but can not make it to Homa Bay have been updated on when and how to initiate the refund process.
Gor Mahia FC has announced a ticket refund plan for fans unable to travel to Homa Bay for the rescheduled Mashemeji Derby against AFC Leopards.
The update comes after the derby, initially set for May 11 at Nairobi's Kasarani Stadium, was moved to the newly refurbished Raila Odinga Stadium due to ongoing renovations at both Kasarani and Nyayo Stadium.
The unexpected venue change disrupted travel plans for many supporters from both clubs, most of whom had already bought tickets in anticipation of a high-stakes clash in Nairobi.
