The former Manchester United captain named the four players who should leave Old Trafford immediately.
Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has shared why several players should leave Old Trafford this summer.
Manchester United have endured a tough season, finishing a disappointing 15th place on the Premier League table with just 42 points. The Red Devils managed to secure 11 wins out of their 38 matches played and lost 18.
In the process of restructuring, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim revealed several players would leave, as they look to bring on board other players. Their latest confirmed signing, according to speculation, is Wolves' Matheus Cunha.

Gary Neville: These 4 Players Should Leave Manchester United
Gary Neville has shared why Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho should leave Manchester United, as he named the one player he feels the club should retain and build around.
Manchester United have already started the summer transfer window strongly and are currently confident of signing Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo for £50 million, beating out competition from Arsenal, Newcastle, and Tottenham.
These attacking additions are expected to revitalise the team's front line, and Gary Neville suggests this is why he sees the quartet of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho departing.

5 Records Arsenal Broke in 2024/2025 Season
Arsenal's 2024/2025 season saw them break historic records in Europe and the Premier League, showcasing dominance and consistency.
He stated on the It's Called Soccer podcast that he is 'pretty certain' about the five players' situations. Gary Neville believes Marcus Rashford needs a fresh start elsewhere.
Gary Neville further expressed concern that Aston Villa has not confirmed they intend to keep Rashford after his loan spell, suggesting a potential move there might have fallen through.
"On these five I'm pretty certain. Marcus Rashford has to leave for him and the club. I think that ship has sailed and he needs to find himself another club," Gary Neville said.

‘I May Return’ - Michael Olunga Leaves Door Open for Al Duhail Comeback After Surprise Exit
Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga has not closed the door on a sensational return to Al Duhail in future after parting ways with the club this week.
"I would worry that Aston Villa haven't announced that they're keeping him already because I think that could have been an easy deal to do with United if they were going to keep him, so it sounds to me like Villa aren't going to keep him. I would say for Marcus' sake and for United's sake, that it feels like that path has come to an end."
Regarding Jadon Sancho, Gary Neville expressed similar sentiments, noting his concern that Chelsea has not indicated they intend to keep him after his loan spell.
He felt Antony benefited from his loan to Real Betis, calling La Liga the 'perfect' destination and suggesting the player was struggling at Old Trafford.

'To Be Able to Run Against Ferdinand Omanyala is the Ultimate Privilege' - Kennedy Lachlan
Kennedy Lachlan described beating Ferdinand Omanyala on his home turf as an incredible honour after clocking a stunning personal best to win the Kip Keino Classic.
"I feel a little bit similarly with him as I do with Marcus. I'd be a bit concerned that Chelsea haven't made the noises that they're going to keep him," Gary Neville said.
"Again, Manchester United have to make sure they part ways with him and, from Jadon's point of view, he has to make sure that he parts ways with Manchester United.
"I can imagine he (Antony) was absolutely going under while he was at Old Trafford. He's gone to Spain and having seen a couple of players that I played with not do it at Old Trafford but do it in Spain… I think he's suited down to the ground and it's been proven.
"I think Antony is perfect for Spain and, again, somebody who Manchester United should facilitate leaving. It's best for Antony and best for the club."
Neville believes Alejandro Garnacho's potential departure stems from disagreements with the manager. He stated that if players publicly question the manager, the manager must prevail, or else the manager should leave.
He does not see the manager leaving in this instance, leading him to believe Garnacho will depart. However, Gary Neville strongly opposes selling Kobbie Mainoo, a long-time academy product. Despite Mainoo being benched recently, Neville declared selling him a 'step too far.'
