After expressing interest in linking up with Lamine Yamal, Marcus Rashford has emerged as a potential target for Barcelona.

Barcelona are reportedly considering a loan move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford following his admiration for Barcelona's young star Lamine Yamal, and his desire to play in Spain.

Barcelona are exploring the possibility of a loan deal for next season, with Manchester United reportedly hoping to secure a loan fee as part of any agreement.

According to the Daily Mail, the La Liga champions are seeking a straightforward loan arrangement and are requesting that Manchester United subsidise a portion of Marcus Rashford's substantial £300,000-a-week wages.

Marcus Rashford expressed his desire to play alongside Barcelona's rising star, Lamine Yamal, amid his uncertain future at Old Trafford.

His brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard, is said to have held talks with Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, last month regarding a possible £40 million move.

"Of course I'd love to. Everyone wants to play with the best. Hopefully... we'll see," Marcus Rashford responded when asked about the prospect of playing with Lamine Yamal.

Marcus Rashford's rapport with United manager Ruben Amorim seems tense, increasing the likelihood of a move to Spain. "Spain is nice, and it's not too far from home," Rashford said.

While Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams remains Barcelona's primary attacking target, their interest in Marcus Rashford persists due to his versatility. This suggests that a move for Rashford could still be on the cards, even if they secure Williams's signature.
