Former Tottenham boss Antonio Conte talks about his future in coaching.

Antonio Conte, the Italian manager, has opened up about his future after his contract with Tottenham Hotspur was ended by mutual consent.

The former Juventus boss parted ways with the Lilywhites after a run of bad results and an explosive interview.

His assistant, Cristian Stellini, took over on an interim basis before he was also fired for poor results. Ryan Mason was then given the job until the end of the season.

After a tumultuous campaign, Tottenham have finally found another permanent manager after naming Ange Postecoglou. Conte himself is ready to move on after talking about his future in a recent interview.

What Conte said

The 53-year-old was asked about his future when he expressed his desire to return to coaching.

Despite the acrimonious end to his Tottenham stint, Conte explains that he has not lost his passion for coaching and still has the desire to do the job.

However, he said that he is not keenly searching for a job, but if a good enough offer comes, he will gladly oblige.

“I still have the desire to coach, that passion never goes. If it did, I would have to look inside myself and think that it was no longer right to continue doing this profession,” Conte said, per 90 Min.

“Having said that, I am also not spasmodically searching for a new job. If something important and serious came along, that gave me motivation, then I would give it consideration, in Italy or abroad.”

Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham's new manager, has spoken about what his players should expect from training sessions.
