Ulinzi are just one point above the drop zone but the former Harambee Stars and AFC Leopards man is confident he can get them out of their predicament.

Ulinzi Stars head coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani has revealed what his charges must do in order to get out of their unwanted current predicament ahead of their next game against Shabana.

The Soldiers are currently 13th in the league table, just one point above the drop zone, and plenty of questions have started to be asked about whether they will be able to get out of the unwanted situation.

Following their 0-0 draw with KCB on Sunday, Modo revealed that his team learnt alot from their particular match with the Bankers, which will be a good platform to be able to make them get to the next level.

“There are lots of positives we can pick from KCB, as well as the game against AFC Leopards,” Kimani said.

“If we can keep on building on the performance that we have had I am pretty sure that with the inclusion of new players that have joined us, we will get better results going forward.”

Modo insists that the entire team knows what is expected of them and is working hard to make sure they can get out of their rough patch.

“Like I said earlier on, the position that we are in at the table is not a reflection of who we are,” said Kimani.

“We are not supposed to be there, we are all aware of that. The players are all aware of that and everybody is doing their best to ensure we can turn things around and the team can start going on the ascendancy to make sure we get back where we should be.”
