Accident Details
The accident occurred on the A-52 motorway near Zamora, Spain. Jota and his brother were travelling in a Lamborghini when it reportedly suffered a tire blowout while overtaking, causing it to veer off the road and burst into flames, according to Spanish emergency services. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other passengers or vehicles involved, and investigators confirmed that the vehicle was travelling at high speed when the blowout occurred.
